Promoting Sustainable Dog Walking in San Francisco's Natural Areas

Pack Play

There are great spots on Bernal for your best friend to play with his best friend!

Dogs need socialization and exercise, especially in a small town like San Francisco. We can give our dogs these experiences, while being mindful of sensitive sites within our favorite parks. At Bernal, playful romping in groups can safely take place at the Saddle Area, which is rather removed from traffic. A bench overlooking the site makes it a nice spot for a cup of morning coffee. The Southern Quarry is another open area, with good visibility.

Because the hill is largely grassland habitat, the the trees surrounding the paved path offer some of the only shady spots for our pals to relax together on hot days. Or take the uppermost trail to get great views while your dogs play together.
